Sophrology is a method of personal development designed to reduce stress and promote mental and physical well-being. This is achieved through breathing exercises, simple physical movements  and mental visualizations.

When practiced regularly, it helps to regain  a healthy and relaxed body and  a calm and alert mind.  

The word sophrology comes from the Greek:

SOS = serenity, harmony

PHREN = spirit, consciousness

LOGOS = science, study

Sophrology has several fields of application:

  • stress management

  • sleep problems

  • preparing for an exam  or an event

  • pain management

  • build self-confidence, etc.
